HSC results: GPA-5 achievers drop to 69,097

A total of 69,097 students across the country achieved GPA-5 in this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations. Last year, 145,911 students had achieved GPA-5, marking a decrease of 76,814 this year.
The results were released simultaneously by all education boards on Thursday (16 October) at 10:00 am. Students can check their results through their respective educational institutions, the boards’ websites, or via SMS.
This year, 1,251,111 students registered for the examinations, including 618,015 male students and 633,096 female students. The exams were held across 2,797 centres nationwide. However, nearly 27,000 students were absent.
