UGC recruitment tests postponed

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has postponed the recruitment tests for two posts, scheduled for Friday, December 19, considering the country's overall situation. 

The exams for the assistant director and assistant secretary posts have been suspended due to unavoidable reasons, stated a UGC notice this morning.

A new date for the test will be notified later, the notice said.

The decision comes amid unrest across the country following the death of Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of Inqilab Mancha.

Hadi died on Thursday, December 18, while undergoing treatment at Singapore General Hospital after being critically injured in a gun attack in Dhaka on December 12.
