Sydney International School celebrates 14th founding anniversary
Sydney International School (SIS), a premier international education institution in Dhaka, celebrated its 14th founding anniversary on Thursday at its Gulshan-2 campus in a vibrant and dignified ceremony.
Established in 2012, SIS has been providing education from Playgroup to A Level under the Cambridge International Curriculum. Over the past 14 years, the school has earned the trust of parents and students through its dedication to academic excellence, modern teaching methodologies, co-curricular activities, and a strong emphasis on moral and leadership development.
Former Executive Chairman of the Board of Investment and former Director of the Commonwealth Secretariat, M Mokammel Haque, also an adviser of Sydney International School, attended the event as the chief guest.
Major General (Retd.) Shahedul Haque, PSC, Director of SBAC Bank PLC, attended as Special Guest. Other dignitaries included Mynul Mridha, Founder Chairman of SIS; Kaji Jasika Jarin, Director and renowned Australia-based lawyer; and Saima Sadika, Academic Dean, along with academic coordinators.
The celebration featured cultural performances and a special magic show that captivated the students and added joy and excitement to the event.
Speakers highlighted that the 14th anniversary was not only a celebration but also an occasion to reflect on SIS’s achievements and reaffirm its commitment to delivering high-quality, future-ready international education to its students.
