DU science unit entry test result published

The authorities of Dhaka University (DU) on Monday published the results of the Science unit entry test for its 2025–26 undergraduate programmes.

The results were published on the university’s official admission portal at 8:30 pm. 

This year, 114,114 students applied for 1,891 seats, while 102,093 candidates sat for the exam held on December 27.

A total of 7,621 candidates passed, including 7,212 from the science stream, 300 from humanities, and 109 from business studies. The university said 4,278 candidates’ results were cancelled, and the overall pass rate stood at 7.46 percent.

Candidates may also check results via SMS by typing DU SCI and sending it to 16321 from Grameenphone, Banglalink, or Teletalk numbers.

Successful candidates can submit detailed forms and subject preferences from 3:00 pm on January 27 to 3:00 pm on February 5. Quota applicants must submit required documents at the Science Faculty Dean’s Office between February 1 and February 5.

Applications for re-scrutiny will be accepted from January 27 to February 1, with final decisions to be announced on February 3.
