Junior scholarship exam results published

The results of the junior scholarship exams have been published on Wednesday, February 25, with a total of 46,200 students selected across two categories. 

Of them, 14,700 students received scholarship under talent pool category, while 31,500 qualified under the General category.

Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon published the results at a ceremony held in the office of the Secondary and Higher Education Division of the Ministry of Education around 1:30 pm.

State Minister Bobby Hajjaj was also present on the occasion.

The results can be viewed online by visiting the Directorate of Primary Education website, selecting the “Scholarship Result” option, and entering your roll number and year (2026), or via SMS by typing your board name, roll number, and year, and sending it to 16222 to receive the result through a return message.

This year, a total of 315,160 students from nine general education boards across Bangladesh participated in the examinations, conducted from December 28–30, 2025, and January 6, 2026, across 611 centers under the nine general education boards.

Scholarships will be provided for two years (grades 9–10), along with an annual lump-sum payment.

Students selected under talent pool category will receive Tk 450 per month, while General category recipients will receive Tk 300 per month.
