Dhaka Central University gets new VC

Dr Md Nurul Islam, a Professor of Jahangirnagar University's Geography and Environmental Science department, has appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka Central University.
Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon announced the decision at a press conference at the Ministry of Education on Monday.
Meanwhile, the government appointed new Vice-Chancellors to seven public universities across the country, including University of Dhaka, University of Chittagong, and Jagannath University.
