Final event of “Cinemagic of Hogwarts” to be held at AIUB today

The final event of the Great Hall Gathering of Cinemagic of Hogwarts at the American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB) will take place on Monday afternoon.

The programme will include a Yule Ball–themed opening performance, the final round of the Triwizard Tournament character-portrayal competition, a Harry Potter–themed orchestral performance, a Hogwarts-inspired magic show, winner announcements with a prize-giving ceremony, and a Harry Potter–themed 360° video and photo booth.

The event is being organised by the AIUB Film Club (AFC), according to a press release issued by the organization. The release stated, “The AIUB Film Club (AFC), with the generous support of its Prime Sponsor MSI, has successfully transported AIUBians into the enchanting world of Hogwarts through the first-ever Cinemagic of Hogwarts at AIUB.”

From 31st August to 3rd September 2025, students embarked on a magical journey with film screenings of all eight Harry Potter movies, a Harry Potter–themed photo booth that captured hundreds of memorable moments, and Hogwarts-inspired stalls and displays across the D-Building lobby and multipurpose hall.

These activities brought together thousands of students, creating an unforgettable campus atmosphere of joy, creativity, and community spirit.
