1 killed in Jessore gunfight
An unidentified person was killed in a gunfight between two groups of terrorists in the district.
The gunfight took place near Mothurapur Filling Station of Jessore- Jhenaidah highway early Thursday.
Confirming the matter, Elias Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Jessore Kotwali Model Thana, said, police also recovered a shutter-gun and one round of bullet.
He said, two terror groups locked into a gunfight. On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered a bullet-hit man. He was immediately taken to Jessore Medical College Hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
