10 arrested over question papers leak

Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police arrested 10 members of a gang on charge of their alleged involvement in leaking the question papers of different public examinations including government bank recruitment tests and university admission tests.

The arrestees are Tariq, Sohan, Shishir, Nadim, Arif, Jahir, Sumon, Sohel, Asim and Mithun.

Golam Saklain Sithil, Assistant Deputy Commissioner of DB north division, said: “Ten people including their mastermind were arrested from different parts of the capital for their involvement with question papers leak through electronic devices.” 

“Some bank officials are among them. Apart from an official of Bangladesh Bank is on run.”

Further details regarding their matter will be disclosed latter on the day at a press conference, he added.
