National Moon Sighting Committee meets Friday

The National Moon Sighting Committee will meet at the Islamic Foundation at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 7:15 pm on Friday to decide the day of holy Eid-ul-Fitr after reviewing reports on the appearance of the Shwal moon of Hizri 1439.
Religious affairs minister and National Moon Sighting Committee president Matiur Rahman will preside over the meeting.
The committee has requested people to inform the Islamic foundation if the moon was sighted anywhere in the country.
