Sirajganj road crash kills 4

Four people have been killed and 20 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck.

The accident occurred at Konabari college intersection at the west side of Bangabandhu Bridge on Tuesday around 6.15 pm.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Bagngabandhu Bridge West Police Station Officer-in-charge Rakibul Islam said the accident occurred when the Rajshahi-bound bus of ‘Desh Travels’ collided head-on with a truck, leaving three people dead on the spot and injured 20 others.

The injured were taken to Sirajganj General Hospital, the OC added.
