Two dengue patients die; 682 hospitalized in 24 hrs

Two dengue patients died and 682 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours.

With the latest death, a total of 1,634 people died of dengue to date this year, a Directorate General of Health Services press release said on Monday.

Currently, 2,689 people diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals in and outside the capital of Dhaka.

As many as 3,14,388 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year.

Some 3,10,055 out of the hospitalized patients, however, recovered during the period.
