PM to visit Tungipara on Friday

Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to visit her ancestral house at Tungipara in Gopalganj on Friday morning. 

He will leave for Gopalganj at 7am. 

Prime Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary MM Imrul Kayes confirmed the matter to Jago News on Thursday. 

During the visit, she will distribute agricultural materials to the farmers and sewing machines to distressed women in her constituency, he said. 

Besides, Sheikh Hasina will exchanged views with the leaders and activists of her party and pay homage to Bangabandhu at the mausoleum of the father of the nation at Tungipara. She will return to Dhaka on Friday afternoon.
