Ex-UGC secretary Ferdous suspended

Dr Ferdous Zaman, former secretary of University Grants Commission, UGC, has been suspended from his job.
The decision was taken at the full commission meeting held on January 29. This information was revealed from the minutes of the meeting.
Earlier, he was removed from the secretary post on August 5 after the fall of Awami League and transferred to UGC’s Research Support and Publication Division.
A three-member committee has been formed to probe the allegations against Ferdous, the meeting minutes said.
