104 ASPs promoted to Addl SP rank

The government has promoted 104 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) to the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl-SP). Of these, 102 were promoted through the usual process, while two received retrospective promotions.
Two separate notifications were issued by the Police-1 branch of the Ministry of Home Affairs' Public Security Division on Wednesday. Both notifications were signed by Deputy Secretary Md Mahbubur Rahman.
This information was made public by the Ministry on Thursday.
