Magura child rape: Victim's condition worsens
Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam on Wednesday, March 12, said the physical condition of eight-year-old rape victim from Magura worsened, and the doctors are trying their best to save her life.
He provided this update in a press briefing at the Foreign Service Academy in Dhaka on Wednesday, March 12.

The rape incident occurred when the victim visited her sister’s in-laws’ house in Magura.
She was initially admitted to Magura General Hospital and later transferred to Faridpur Medical College Hospital as her condition deteriorated.
On Thursday, March 6, she was moved to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, DMCH, and on Saturday, March 8, she was shifted to the Combined Military Hospital, CMH, Dhaka.
An eight-member media board headed by CMH chief surgeon has been formed for her treatment.
The child's mother filed a case in this connection. The child's sister's husband, his parents, and brother were named in the case who are already in police custody.
