The vehicular movement on the road from Khilkhet to Kuril and Bashundhara will remain suspended for around 29 hours due to utility relocation work for the MRT Line-1 project.

Traffic on this route will be closed from 7:00pm on Thursday (April 17) to 12:00am on Friday (April 18), according to a Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) notice issued on Thursday.

DMTCL advised vehicles to take a U-turn in front of Radisson Hotel and use the Kuril Flyover or other suitable roads as alternatives to reach their destinations.
