One dead, 4 injured in gas cylinder blast in Gazipur
A woman has died, and four others have suffered burn injuries in a gas cylinder explosion in Joydebpur, Gazipur. The incident occurred at around 10:45 pm on Sunday, April 27. The five individuals who were injured in the explosion were rescued and admitted to the emergency department of the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery. One of the injured, a woman named Seema, died on Monday morning while receiving treatment.
Dr Shaon Bin Rahman, the residential physician at the hospital, stated, "Five people, including a child, were admitted here from Joydebpur, Gazipur, with burn injuries. Seema passed away at 9:15 am while undergoing treatment. She had 90% of her body burnt. Among the others, Parveen had 32% burns, Tanzila had 90%, Taslima had 95%, and the child, Ayan, had 28% burns. All of them are in critical condition.
