17,694 Hajj pilgrims reach Saudi

A total of 17,694 pilgrims, including organisers, have, so far, travelled to Saudi Arabia from Bangladesh this year to perform Hajj.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs shared this information in its latest bulletin published on Hajj management portal on Saturday morning, May 3.
According to the bulletin, 4,564 pilgrims travelled to Saudi Arabia under government management, while 13,130 reached there under private management.
Of the pilgrims, one died, said the bulletin.
The first Hajj flight left Dhaka for Saudi Arabia on April 29 and the last flight is scheduled to depart on May 31.
A total of 87,100 Bangladeshi pilgrims will go to Saudi Arabia for Hajj this year.
