Derailment snaps Khulna's rail link with other parts of country
Khulna's rail communication with other parts of the country was suspended after a train derailed in Chuadanga's Jibannagar on Friday afternoon, July 4.
Witnesses said a bogie of a goods-laden train veered off the track around 100 yards away from Uthli railway station at about 5:00pm, halting the rail communication between Khulna and rest of the country.
The station master, Minto Roy, the higher officials of Pakshi divisional office have been informed about the incident.
