1 killed, several injured in Uttara plane crash
A person was killed and several others, including students, were injured as a training aircraft of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) crashed in Dhaka's Uttara on Monday afternoon, July 21.
Lima Khanam, duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence, confirmed the matter of death.
The training aircraft, F-7 BGI, crashed in Uttara after taking off at about 1:06pm, the Inter-Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) said in a statement.
Being informed, eight units of the firefighters rushed to the spot and were trying to douse the blaze.
