Farooki out of danger for now: Tisha

Cultural Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, who was airlifted to Dhaka by helicopter on Saturday night after falling ill in Cox’s Bazar, is out of danger for now. He reportedly became ill due to excessive work pressure.

Renowned actress Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Farooki’s wife, confirmed the news in a post on her verified Facebook page at 1:28 am on Sunday.

“Mostofa Sarwar Farooki fell physically ill while attending a ministry workshop in Cox’s Bazar and was brought to Dhaka. He is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital. Doctors have said that his condition was caused by excessive work pressure. For now, he is out of danger,” she wrote.

She also requested everyone to keep him in their prayers.
