LGRD, Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan has said the government is taking firm measures to control the situation at Chittagong University, where clashes have erupted.

In a statement posted on Facebook on Sunday noon, Asif said, “The government has been active since night to control the situation at Chittagong University. Despite several attempts, due to obstruction from local villagers, law enforcement forces could not reach the area immediately. Later, the force arrived.”
