Fire erupts at Siddheshwari mosque

A fire broke out at a mosque beside Siddheswari Boys' Higher Secondary School adjacent to Mouchak Market in Dhaka on Tuesday evening, September 2.
A fire was reported at a mosque beside Siddheshwari School around 7:12pm, said Rojina Aktar, control room duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence.
Later, two units of the firefighters rushed to the spot and were working to bring the fire under control, she said.
However, the cause of the fire and the extent of damage could not be known immediately, the official added.
