No power on earth can stop election: Press Secretary

Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam has said that the national election will be held by the first half of February at any cost. “No power on earth can stop this election,” he stated.
He made the remarks on Sunday (September 7) following a high-level meeting at the state guesthouse Jamuna on the review of the law-and-order situation.
Speaking at a press conference at the Foreign Service Academy on Bailey Road in the capital, the Press Secretary said the election will be held and all necessary preparations will be taken.
