Former Gulshan police inspector Aminul shown arrested

Aminul Islam, an inspector at the Police Training Centre in Tangail, has been shown arrested. He previously served as an inspector (investigation) at Gulshan Police Station in Dhaka during the mass uprising.

He was shown arrested at the training centre in Tangail on Wednesday afternoon (September 10).

Sources at the centre said Aminul Islam joined the training centre as an inspector after August 5. Later, a case was filed against him in a Dhaka court. On Wednesday, an arrest warrant in that case reached the training centre.

Regarding the arrest, Abu Saeed, Additional Superintendent of Police (Admin & Finance) at the training centre, told Jago News, “Following the arrival of the warrant, Aminul Islam was shown arrested. He will be handed over to Mirzapur Police Station.”
