The entire nation is ready for the election. All institutions involved in the process have also begun their work. We hope the national election will be held by February 15, said Shafiqul Alam, Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, on Friday.

He made the remarks after visiting the ancestral home of Islamic Renaissance poet Farrukh Ahmed in Magura.

Shafiqul Alam added, “Once the monsoon season ends, the election momentum will spread across neighborhoods. Citizens, including those who haven’t voted in the past 17 years and the new generation, will go to polling centers with enthusiasm and express their opinions.”

He further noted, “Discussions with political parties regarding the July Charter are ongoing on a consensus basis. Reform work is progressing rapidly, and its results are visible.”

The Press Secretary also highlighted, “The DUCSU elections were conducted fairly and smoothly, without any unpleasant incidents.”

Magura Deputy Commissioner Md Ohidul Islam and other senior administrative officials were present during the visit.
