No problem remains unresolved if youth stay active: Yunus

Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser of the interim government, said that if the youth remain active, no problem in the country will remain unresolved.

He made these remarks on Sunday (15 September) while attending the Youth Volunteer Award-2025 event.

Addressing the youth, Yunus said, “I call upon every member of the younger generation to use your talent, energy, and creativity to contribute to the development of society and the nation. Let your achievements not remain limited to personal success but serve as exemplary models for others. I firmly believe that if the youth remain active, no problem in the country can remain unresolved.”

Expressing his gratitude, the Chief Adviser specially thanked the Ministry of Youth and Sports for organising the ‘Youth Volunteer Award-2025’ and added, “I am delighted to be present at today’s event. At the same time, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the award recipients.”

He further stated, “Today, we are celebrating the power of youth, which is the driving force of our nation. I strongly believe that when a country’s youth remain active, energetic, and empowered with innovative strength, no obstacle can halt their progress.”

Highlighting the broader contributions of young people, he noted, “The innovative potential of our youth is no longer limited to education alone. They are playing a leading role in healthcare, environmental protection, poverty alleviation, and the establishment of social justice. These same young people led the 1971 Liberation War, and through the ages, they have shaped the history of our nation.”

He added, “Along our journey, new challenges will constantly emerge—sometimes public health crises, sometimes inadequate educational opportunities, and sometimes environmental disasters. Yet, instead of becoming disheartened, we must confront these challenges unitedly with our own strength. I hope our youth will take the lead in this effort as well.”
