Crude bomb exploded in Hatirjheel, motorcycle torched

Unidentified miscreants exploded a crude bomb in the capital’s Hatirjheel area on Saturday evening, setting a motorcycle on fire.

The explosion occurred around 6:10 pm on the Madhubag Bridge.

According to police sources, miscreants detonated the crude bomb on the bridge in the evening and then fled the scene. A motorcycle parked at the spot caught fire following the blast. No casualties were reported.

Confirming the incident, Hatirjheel Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Fuad Ahmed said, “Upon receiving information, one of our teams rushed to the scene. No one has been detained in connection with the incident so far.”
