Qatar to recruit 800 Bangladeshi troops on deputation

Qatar will initially recruit 800 members of the Bangladesh Armed Forces on deputation.
They will primarily be recruited for three years and the term might be extended up to six years if their work skill is deemed satisfactory.
An agreement formalising the recruitment was signed in Doha, Qatar, on Sunday, November 16, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Lieutenant General SM Kamrul Hasan, Principal Staff Officer of the Armed Forces Division, signed the deal on behalf of Bangladesh, while Lieutenant General (Pilot) Jasim bin Mohammed Al Mannai, Chief of Staff, signed for Qatar.
