Reports of CA’s office tilting in earthquake not true: Police

Following a 5.7-magnitude earthquake felt in the capital, Dhaka, reports circulated claiming that the Chief Adviser’s office in Tejgaon had tilted. However, police confirmed on Friday that these reports are not true.
Mobarak Hossain, officer-in-charge (OC) of Tejgaon Police Station, told Jago News that after the reports surfaced, police and fire service teams rushed to the site. Upon inspection, they found that no building had actually tilted.
Meanwhile, many residents contacted the fire service control room after the earthquake. According to the fire service, they have so far received reports of three to four buildings in Dhaka allegedly tilting.
