486 dengue cases reported in 24 hours
A total of 486 new dengue cases were reported across country in the past 24 hours as of Saturday morning, according to the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
No new dengue-related deaths were recorded during this period.
Of the dengue cases include 50 in Barisal, 77 in Chattogram, 76 in Dhaka Division (outside city corporations), 110 in Dhaka North City, 66 in Dhaka South City, 36 in Khulna (outside city corporation), 32 in Mymensingh, 34 in Rajshahi, and 5 in Rangpur.
In the same period, 581 patients were discharged, bringing the total recoveries this year to 95,204.
Since January 2025, 97,313 people have been hospitalized with dengue, and 394 deaths have been reported.
For comparison, in 2024, 101,214 people were hospitalized and 575 deaths occurred due to dengue, while in 2023, 321,179 hospitalizations and 1,705 deaths were recorded.
