Two tremors hit Sylhet within five minutes

Sylhet experienced two earthquakes within a span of five minutes in the early hours of Thursday (10 December). The first tremor was felt at 2:20 am, followed by a second at 2:25 am, according to the National Center for Seismology of India. 

The first earthquake measured 3.5 on the Richter scale at a depth of 20 kilometers, while the second registered 3.3 at a depth of 30 kilometers.

Meanwhile, at 3:38 am, an earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale struck the Bay of Bengal at a depth of 15 kilometers. Additionally, a 3.8-magnitude earthquake occurred in Myanmar at 2:38 am, the seismology center reported.
