Sharif Osman Hadi, a leader of the July Uprising, spokesperson of Inqilab Mancha, and a potential independent candidate for the Dhaka-8 constituency, will be taken to Singapore in a air ambulance on Monday afternoon.

The decision was made during an emergency conference call involving Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant for Health Affairs Professor Dr Md Sayedur Rahman, Evercare Hospital specialist Dr Zafar, and Osman Hadi’s brother Omar Bin Hadi, following instructions from Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus, according to the Chief Adviser's Press Wing.

Over the past two days, the government contacted several hospitals in Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia regarding Osman Hadi’s treatment.

Based on advice from Evercare Hospital’s expert medical team and consultations with his family, the Chief Adviser approved his transfer.

Dr Md Sayedur Rahman informed the Chief Adviser that Osman Hadi’s condition is currently stable and unchanged.

All arrangements, including a medical air ambulance, an accompanying medical team, and travel preparations, have been completed.

Upon arrival, he will receive care at the Accident Emergency Department of Singapore General Hospital.

All treatment expenses will be covered by the state.

The Chief Adviser has instructed authorities to closely monitor his medical progress and has sought prayers from the nation for Osman Hadi’s speedy recovery.
