Metro services to be suspended for 40 minutes on Tuesday

Metro rail services will be suspended for 40 minutes on Tuesday to ensure the safety of paratroopers during Victory Day celebrations.
Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) announced on Monday that the suspension will be in effect from 11:50 am to 12:30 pm.
According to DMTCL, a para jump is scheduled at Tejgaon Old Airport to mark Victory Day, prompting the temporary halt in metro services for the safety of the paratroopers.
Authorities apologised to commuters for the inconvenience and assured that services would resume as scheduled.
