Gulistan market fire under control

The fire that broke out at a market in Dhaka's Gulistan has been brought under control after around one and a half hours.
Firefighters brought the fire under control around 6:58 pm on Friday, December 26, said Anwarul Islam, media officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence.
Earlier, the fire was reported at the rooftop of Khaddar Bazar Shopping Complex in Zero Point area around 5:28 pm, said Rozina Aktar, control room duty officer at the Fire Service Headquarters.
Later, nine units of firefighters from Siddique Baza Fire Station rushed to the spot and started work to douse the blaze, she said.
