Appointment of 1 DAG, 3 AAGs scrapped

The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs cancelled the appointment of one deputy attorney general and three assistant attorneys general.
They are Deputy Attorney General Julfikar Alam Shimul, Assistant Attorneys General ABM Ibrahim Khalil, Md Mantu Alam, and Mohammad Ayub Ali.
The Law and Justice Division issued a notification in this regard on Sunday, December 28; however, this information was provided on Monday, December 29.
On August 28 last year, the government appointed 66 deputy attorneys general and 161 assistant attorneys general.
