Yunus to attend Khaleda Zia’s janaza: Press Secy

Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus will attend the namaz-e-janaza (funeral prayer) of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
Shafiqul Alam, Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, made the announcement while speaking to journalists following a meeting held at the conference room of Ministry of Home Affairs at the Secretariat on Tuesday, December 3.
The meeting focused on arrangements for Khaleda Zia’s funeral, burial, and law and order management, he said. Other government advisers and diplomats from various countries are also expected to attend.
Around 10,000 law enforcement personnel will be deployed to ensure security during the funeral and burial ceremonies, he added.
