Tarique Rahman recites Qur’an beside Khaleda’s coffin

The body of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has been taken to her son Tarique Rahman’s residence in Gulshan 2, Dhaka.
Party leaders, activists, and family members are gathering there to pay their last respects. Tarique Rahman is seated beside his mother’s coffin, reciting the Qur’an.
Just before 9:00 am on Wednesday, her body, draped in the national flag of Bangladesh, was taken from Evercare Hospital in Dhaka towards Gulshan. It was then brought to Tarique Rahman’s house, accompanied by his daughter Zaima Rahman and other family members. BNP leaders and activists were also present.
