Bullet-hit Tanjina taken to CMCH; condition critical

Eleven-year-old Tanjina Afran, who was injured by gunshot fired from Mynamar, has been taken to the Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) as her condition is critical.

The child is now undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the facility, said her uncle, Md Shawkat Hossain.

Over the past four days, heavy gunfire and explosions have been reported across the Rakhine border near Hwaikyang in Teknaf.

Amid this, a bullet struck the head of Afran, daughter of Jasim Uddin, a resident of ward no. 3 under Hwaikyang, in Tessa Bridge area this morning, leaving her seriously wounded.
