Following the dispute, supporters of Ershad Mia, equipped with firearms and lethal weapons, reportedly attacked the homes of Hanif Master’s supporters. Masum alias China, loyal to Ershad, opened fire on Mustakim during the clash, leaving him dead on the spot.
