Couple, 2 children found dead in Dhaka

The police recovered the bodies of a couple and their two children in Dhaka's Mirpur on Thursday afternoon, February 5.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The bodies were retrieved from a house in Wapda Bihari Camp area of Mirpur-11 under Pallabi police station, said the police station's officer-in-charge, AKM Alamgir Hossain.

The police and the crime scene unit of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) are on the spot, and preparation is underway to send the bodies to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital, he said.

Neighbours said the family became indebted, and they might have committed suicide due to depression.
