Yunus, advisers make public wealth info

The Cabinet Division has published the asset declarations of the interim government’s Chief Adviser, other advisers, officials of equivalent rank, and their spouses.

The list, released on Tuesday, February 10, also includes former advisers Md Mahfuz Alam and Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan.

The declarations cover the periods ending June 30, 2024 and June 30, 2025, in line with the Cabinet Division’s October 1, 2024 directive on asset reporting.

In a national address in August 2024, just two weeks after taking office, Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus had promised that the government would make all advisers’ asset declarations public at the earliest possible time.
