Govt discontinues contractual appointment of Cabinet Secy

The government has revoked the contractual appointment of Cabinet Secretary Sheikh Abdur Rashid, according to an official notification issued on Saturday, February 14.
The Ministry of Public Administration cancelled the remaining tenure of his contract through a gazette notification.
The order, however, did not mention any specific reason behind the decision.
