Gazette listing 713 more as July Warriors published

The government has published separate gazette notifications recognising 713 more individuals, who were injured during the July uprising in 2024, as July Warriors.

The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs issued the gazette notifications on February 11, 13, and 17, respectively, listing them under three categories.

Six have been included under category ‘A’, 33 under ‘B’ and 674 under 'C'.

With this, more than 16,000 people have been listed as July Warriors of the July uprising 2024.

In October last year, the government, however, scrapped the July Warriors status of 128 individuals after they were found to be included in the list with false information.
