Eid advance train ticket sales to begin on Mar 3

Bangladesh Railway will begin selling of advance train tickets from March 3 for travel on March 13, on the occasion of the Eid-ul-Fitr.

Rezaul Karim Siddiqui, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Railways, issued a press release in this regard on Wednesday, February 25.

Tickets for subsequent days will be available as follows: March 14 tickets on March 4, March 15 tickets on March 5, March 16 tickets on March 6, March 17 tickets on March 7, March 18 tickets on March 8, and March 19 tickets on March 9.

Sources said that all Eid train tickets will be sold online.

To make ticket purchases more convenient, tickets for intercity trains operating in the western region will be available from 8:00 am, while tickets for trains in the eastern region will be available from 2:00 pm each day.
