Prime Minister Tarique Rahman walked from the Secretariat to the Osmani Memorial Auditorium on Thursday (February 26). He left Secretariat Building No. 1 at 10:15 am through Gate No. 5 and proceeded to the auditorium via the Transport Pool building.

Although the Prime Minister walked, a motorcade followed him at a slow pace. He was accompanied by members of law enforcement agencies, including the SSF and PGR.

Earlier, the Prime Minister arrived at the Secretariat at 9:04 am and attended the cabinet meeting. Afterwards, he proceeded to the auditorium, where an Ekushey Padak award ceremony was scheduled for 11:00 am. He is set to present the awards to the recipients.

Later, at 1:30 pm, he is scheduled to inaugurate the Amar Ekushey Book Fair at the premises of Bangla Academy.
