210 Middle East-bound flights cancelled at HSIA in 6 days

210 Middle East-bound flights cancelled at HSIA in 6 days

Following the start of attacks on Iran by the United States and Israel, the airspace of Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, and Jordan has remained closed.

In this situation, a total of 210 Middle East-bound flights have been cancelled so far over the past six days, from February 28 to March 5, including today.

Sources at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) said that 23 flights were cancelled on February 28, 40 on March 1, 46 on March 2, 39 on March 3, 28 on March 4, and 34 on March 5.

Of today’s cancellations, four flights of Qatar Airways, four of Kuwait Airways, four of Jazeera Airways (Kuwait), 10 of Air Arabia (Sharjah, UAE), four of Emirates, two of US-Bangla Airlines, two of Gulf Air (Bahrain), and four of flydubai (UAE) were affected.
