NOAB announces 5-day Eid holiday for newspapers

The Newspaper Owners' Association of Bangladesh (NOAB) on Tuesday announced a five-day holiday for journalists and employees of newspapers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to a statement signed by NOAB President AK Azad, the holiday will begin on March 19. As a result, no newspapers will be published from March 20 to March 24.
This year, Eid-ul-Fitr is expected to be observed in the country on March 20 or March 21, depending on the sighting of the moon.
