RSC announces interest-free loans for DU admission seekers

The Revolutionary Students' Council (RSC) has announced that it will provide interest-free loans to students seeking admission to Dhaka University for the 2024-25 academic year.
This announcement was made through a greeting card distributed during their assistance programme for students taking the admission exam of the ‘Arts, Law, and Social Sciences Unit’ on Saturday, said a press release.
To support admission seekers, the Dhaka University branch of the organisation set up an information help desk in front of the Arts Building. The help desk guided students in locating their exam centres and seats. Additionally, arrangements were made for providing safe drinking water and securely storing mobile phones and other essential items.
For emergencies, the organisation also offered motorbike services to ensure students could reach their exam centres on time.
After the exam, RSC leaders and activists greeted the students with flowers, pens, and greeting cards.
Abdul Wahed, the central convener of the organisation, said, “The Revolutionary Students' Council is dedicated to self-improvement, spiritual growth, and the establishment of a democratic state. Through our greeting cards, we assured students of our unwavering support. Beyond financial assistance, we are ready to provide interest-free loans if needed.”
The admission support programme was attended by Rotarian Rabeya Akhtar, central joint convener of the National Revolutionary Council , Galib Ihsan, assistant member secretary of NRC, Fazlur Rahman, central member secretary of RSC, Ashraf Ullah Khanand Nesar Ahmed Tuhin, RSC leaders Sanowara Khatun, Muhib Mushfiq Khan, Golam Nur Shafayetullah, Mustakim Billah, and Md Wahidul Islam.
